How does a Tornado Occur?
After seeing all of the damage and photos of these Tornadoes, you may be wondering how one occurs. A Tornado occurs when there are strong winds and heavy rain. Rising air tilts the horizontal winds to vertical, which causes the winds to rotate, creating a Tornado. The faster the winds, the bigger the Tornado gets and the faster it rotates, making the Tornado worse and more destructive. Tornadoes form a line of storms occasionally, which means that the heavy winds and storms that cause Tornadoes get stronger and travel in a certain direction. Below are a few diagrams to show you how they occur.
